Argent fue una banda de rock inglesa fundada en 1969 por el teclista Rod Argent, ex integrante de The Zombies. El grupo grabó la versión original de «God Gave Rock and Roll to You«, tema de Russ Ballard que luego fuera versionado por Kiss en 1991 bajo otro título.
